Annual athletics meet 2024 of NSS Training College, Ottapalam was held on 14th June 2024.Ms.Akhila Ravi, General Captain delivered welcome Speech for the program ' ATHLETICA 2K24'. Dr Ampili Aravind,College Principal inaugurated the function.Mr.Basim A, College Union Chairman Presided over the function.Staff Advisor, Dr.Sreevidya Nair N, Dr. M P Ravishanker, Assistant professor and Mr. Suresh Kumar K, Office Head delivered Felicitations for the program. Ms. Drishya E S,Joint Secretary College Union delivered Vote of thanks.After that flag hoisted by Principal in charge, Dr. Ampili Aravind, chief gue.The Program is coordinated by Sri. Subhash P S, Head of Physical Education Department. The program started with the March Past of various houses.
The meet ended successfully with variety of programs like 100,200,400,1500mtr,4×100 mtr Relay(Girls,Boys,Mixed),Long Jump,Shotput, Discuss Throw and Javelin Throw. Mr.Basim A of Yellow house was selected as the individual champion from men category and Ms.Nimisha K,Blue house as the individual champion from women category . Blue house won the meet with 54 points and Yellow house got runner position with 53 points . Prizes were distributed
